It’s funny, a year or two ago, given an evening to myself, I would have hurried to cram as many plans into it as humanly possible in an effort to “not waste the time.” Tonight I have been gifted an overnight evening sans child and husband and I cannot think of anything I would rather do than sit in a clean and quiet house – alone!
And maybe run some errands that will be much easier to not wrangle a child along with. And maybe write thank you notes, and catch up on Bible study, and design our Christmas card, and do laundry, and watch a good movie, and read my book I’m behind on, and plan Christmas gifts. Or maybe I’ll sit on the couch and do nothing!
Tomorrow morning I am planning to attend our Christmas Luncheon at church – it’s like a whole weekend to myself!
Go for the NOTHING! ENJOY! Enjoy!
Uh, where’s the husband and child?
ILOVEYIOU!
I agree with previous post, go for the nothing! And enjoy.
I also have the same question: Where’s the husband and child?
Have fun!
Will see your sis tomorrow in the Big Apple area and then go to the BA! I’m doing a story for Bethel on a program they have in the city.
When you find the child, XXXXOOOOOs!
